About Me
GONZO MEHUM
My name is James Chen.
I am a writer. A journalist. A novelist. A pedant. A dreamer. A geek. An otaku. A dirty liberal. A progressive. A transhumanist.
I am American, and ethnically Asian. I am, if it isn’t obvious, a guy.
I have an inordinate fondness for the well-turned phrase – just as a simple roast chicken can reveal the substance of a chef so too can phrasing identify the substance of a writer. I am a glutton for both words and food, and would’ve been a chef if I wasn’t so damn good at writing.
I got accepted into the Culinary Institute of America, and decided that I liked keyboards even more than heavy Chinese cleavers, and you can bet sound money that I love the feel of a good cleaver. The fact that tuition for the CIA’s so ludicrously high admittedly helped formulate my career decision.
I am the writer of this blog before you. Thank you for reading.

The Author

Your writing is very pretty and much more enlightening than what I can futilely attempt to achieve. Keep it up! It’s always nice to see a fellow Bay Arean in the blogosphere (not that I maintain a blog, yet, as my writing leaves much to be desired).
